I have always treated education like a marathon. I believe the task is never finished, and I am always learning something new and exciting. I am extremely fortunate to be surrounded by people who challenge me, and I always strive to learn as much as I can from my friends and colleagues. I also think it's incredibly important to pass knowledge onto those who follow in your footsteps, and strive to document my findings whenever possible.
For the past 6 years, I have been building the skillsets I believe make for a great machine learning engineer. The machine learning field is so enormous, it’s easy to get lost, distracted, or overwhelmed. For this reason, I find it important to keep your eye on the big picture and to work methodically to develop the required skills.
